Fishing and Zoo

So a few weekends ago Coby took Talan camping with his parents and they went fishing. I was at a concert so it was just the boys. Here is a picture from the trip. Can't wait to add Harper to the picture.

Zoo

So after doing nothing this weekend (which is not like us at all. We are always on the go) We decided to take Talan to the Zoo. Waco has the best zoo, I highly recommend it to anyway passing through Waco. We are really going to miss the Zoo here. Here are a few pictures:

When we got to the Lions they were at the opposite end of the exhibit and it was as though he wanted to give us a show because this big guy got up and walked over to the window we were at and got right up on the window and started roaring it was so AWESOME!

Easter and T-ball

I am a little late in posting this but here it goes. We had a great Easter with a change of plans at the last minute. Mom and dad and David and Sandra came to Waco on Friday to help us paint the outside of the house we had planned on it taking two days but much to our surprise we finished in one day and it looks amazing. We had planned on doing Easter at home this year but Coby had an interview in Clyde on the Monday after so we headed to Sweetwater. Here are a few pictures of the weekend.

Talan is playing t-ball this year which is very entertaining. They were supposed to have their first game on Saturday but due to the rain and flooded fields the games were cancelled but the parade was still on. Here are a few pictures The quality isn't great I will try to fix that.

The Craziness that is this place

So Nothing really exciting to update with but a few crazy things have happened. So in January we found out that our current head coach had to resign from his job so we knew that our positions here were up in the air. Then they hire a new head coach and he hasn't shown up yet. They had a meeting with the coaches yesterday and told them that their contracts were frozen (which basically means that we aren't going to hire you back) until the new coach had a chance to meet with each one of them. We were also told that the new head coach was here permantly but he didn't show up again today! So any way please keep our family and those on our coaching staff in your prayers. The job search is on.

A Jolly ole England Christmas

We were able to go to England this Christmas for ten days to see Coby's sister and her family! The trip was truly amazing! I was a little nervous about the long flights with Talan but he did amazing! Leaving DFW he was asleep before we even took off and was a sleep when we landed so half of the 8 hour flight and then coming home he slept for over 3 hours!
We went into London one day with the kids to a Winter Wonderland, we saw Buckingham Palace and ate the traditional fish and chips in fact by the end of the trip Coby and Talan might of turned into a fish! We Rode a train to see father Christmas, On Christmas eve we went to Russel's sisters house and then went to the town square for carols around the tree. Ashli, Russel, Coby and myself were able to go into London for a night to sight see and just enjoy all London has.

We had an amazing time and are so thankful for the opportunity! Every day I realize just how blessed we are!
